IPM Scaling & Precision Settings

As part of the 26.06 EPM release in June 2026, Oracle have added scaling and precision settings for IPM insights! This is a welcome feature, meaning administrators have more control over how data is presented in their IPM insights description, graph and data grid.

The scaling can be applied using the Apply Scaling (K, M, B, T) to values displayed in IPM Insights toggle. By default, this will be enabled and will apply scaling based on the magnitude of insight values.

There are also custom scaling options which can be applied using predefined UDAs on the Account dimension, as below:

  • HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_K
  • HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_M
  • HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_B
  • HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_T

The precision settings are similar to the settings in forms, which allows administrators to set the minimum and maximum precision setting for Currency, Non-Currency and Percentage values independently.

The release dates for the 26.06 patch is as below:

  • Test Environment – Friday 5th June
  • Production Environment – Friday 19th June
